Return & Exchange Policy
At Prototype, we pride ourselves on delivering high-performance technical solutions and boutique hardware. Our return policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with Kuwait Law No. 39 of 2014 Regarding Consumer Protection.
1. The 14-Day Return & Exchange Right
In accordance with Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce (MOCI) regulations, you have the right to return or exchange products within 14 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

The item is in its original, unopened packaging and "as new" condition.

The item includes all original accessories, manuals, and any promotional "free gifts" included at the time of purchase.

The original sales invoice must be presented.
2. Technical Inspection & Evaluation
Due to the specialized nature of high-end computer hardware, all returned items—especially those involving sensitive components—must undergo a technical diagnostic.

Inspection Period: Once an item is returned, our technical team will complete a comprehensive evaluation within 1–2 business days.

Verification: We will verify that the hardware has not been tampered with, damaged, or subjected to improper installation/overclocking.

Approval: Once the inspection is cleared, your refund or exchange will be processed immediately.
3. Custom-Built Systems & Modified Hardware
Items that have been customized, assembled, or modified to your specific technical requirements are governed by specific rules:

Exclusion: Custom-commissioned builds are generally non-returnable once assembly has commenced, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.

Defects: If a custom build is found to have a hardware defect, we will repair or replace the affected component(s) immediately under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Unless a manufacturing defect is present, the following items cannot be returned:

Opened Software/Digital Keys: Any software where the seal is broken or the digital license has been exposed/activated.

Consumables: Opened thermal compounds, cleaning kits, or specialized cooling fluids.

Damaged Items: Products showing signs of physical damage, liquid spills, or electrical surges caused by the user.
5. Refunds

Payment Method: Refunds will be issued using the same method used for the original purchase (K-Net, Credit Card, or Cash).

Delivery Fees: Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.
6. Warranty Support
All hardware components are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. Our team is available to assist you with any warranty claims or technical troubleshooting to ensure your system performs at its peak.
